Michael Meldrum - President
Michael grew up in the tubular industry but began his full-time career in 1999 after graduation. Since 2003, Michael has spent the last 5 years as the head of our Houston operations. His responsibilities include the buying and selling of tubular goods as well as keeping everyone in line. In his free time, Michael enjoys snowboarding and playing golf.
Vic Sinclair - CEO
Vic started in the tubular industry and worked his way up to CEO after 25 years of experience. Originally from Aberdeen, Vic now resides in Houston, TX where he oversees the entire operation of the John Lawrie Group.
John Adams - Operations Manager
John joined our company in 1999 and brought with him over 40 years of experience in the tubular industry. John makes every aspect of our business run as smoothly as possible and in a timely manner. He is usually the first one in and last one out of the office and his dedication is the reason why we can process the amount of pipe that we do. When John is not working he can be found spending time with his wife and thirteen grandchildren.
Lisa Vauter - Controller
Since 1999, Lisa has overseen all the financial aspects of the company. She is a customer favorite as she is responsible for tracking our accounts to make sure that they receive their money. Lisa resides in Dayton, TX with her husband and son and enjoys scrap booking.
Andrew Appleton - Buyer/Sales
Darlene Rodgers - Inventory Coordinator
Darlene is in charge of John Lawrie, Inc's inventory management. She organizes our international freight shipments and documentation including the tracking of all our mill certs. In her spare time she takes care of her husband of 30 years, three wonderful children and her 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Victoria DeForrest - Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Victoria is the newest addition to the John Lawrie team. She is in charge of all shipping and receiving operations and schedules when and where the trucks need to be in order to pick up our purchases in addition to validating the accuracy of each shipment.
Antonio Palmerin – Foreman
With over 20 years of experience in the tubular industry, Antonio is the link between the office and the yard. Thanks to Antonio and his dedicated team, our yard operations run smoothly allowing more trucks to come and go.
